I love health and fitness and I have the passion and motivation to help you achieve your goals.
When I had a 4-year professional dancing career I didn’t have to worry about my weight or how I looked, six nights a week, 3 shows per night took care of that. Sadly a knee injury forced an early retirement. During my rehabilitation period I met my husband so not all bad!
When we moved away from our home town I realised I needed to find some like-minded people that enjoyed dance, fitness and music. I soon enrolled and qualified as an aerobics teacher and had a successful 5 year class until I became pregnant with my twin daughters.
After 10 years of playing Mum my weight yo-yo’d and I felt it was time to act. I had tried all the diets some of which made me feel dreadful! Enough was enough. I realised my body needed the right nutrition and diet that was suitable for me. I started making small changes to my diet, researched and learnt more about nutrition, health and fitness. Then I took to the gym and aerobics classes to fulfill my love of dance and fitness.
I soon realised I needed a bigger challenge to fulfill my health and fitness career. So I decided to sign up for a Personal Training course. It was the best decision I’ve ever made and it was definitely the right decision for me. I felt alive again and now I want to share my passion and motivation for health and fitness with you.

Whether it’s a kick start to a new fitness regime, getting in shape for a forthcoming special event or providing guidance to you on your existing fitness routine, I will help you plan the frequency, intensity, duration and type of exercise that will help you achieve your goals.

Sophie is an experienced, fully qualified practitioner, who is passionate about food, cooking and promoting the importance of diet in influencing health and well-being.
She is qualified to degree-level to provide tailored dietary and nutrition advice to support her clients. This could be losing or gaining weight - for good, and in a healthy, sustainable way; or advice about on-going digestive problems, or you might want to know more about how to eat as healthily as possible for the stage of your life, or the stage of a loved-one's life.
Sophie advises on optimal nutrition for different life-stages such as adolescence, pregnancy, breast-feeding, the menopause and the elderly. She can provide information about how to work with other healthcare providers to support a diagnosed condition or illness. She can also help you make sense of the mass of information that is constantly bombarding us, both online and in the media.
